Three days in Coazze, Val Sangone: children and young teens (10–13) build a permanent tree house by hand in the woods at CaRina, alongside whoever lends a hand — real timber, real tools. Run by Utopiae APS; free for the kids.
Places for the kids in the workshop are fully booked. The heart of the initiative stays the same: three days of shared site work, a common kitchen, life in the house. The tree house is a tool in the hands of the youngest — and a piece of CaRina that remains.
A timber structure on a tree we have already chosen: a platform of about 4–6 m², ladder, rail, light roof. Real work, at the scale of those who build it.
Timber, decking, fixings, roof, access, treatments. Meals for about three days and ten people (Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast/lunch), shared kitchen, PPE and safety. People who come to help at other times keep the house and site alive — not only during those three days.
